From October 25th to 27th, 2024, the 2024 China Rehabilitation Medicine Association Comprehensive Academic Annual Conference and International Rehabilitation Medicine Industry Expo, hosted by the China Rehabilitation Medicine Association and jointly organized by Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and our deep partner - Xiamen Fifth Hospital (Xiang'an Campus of Xiamen University Affiliated First Hospital), came to a successful conclusion in Xiamen. This grand event is one of the most influential academic conferences in the field of rehabilitation medicine in China, gathering more than 7000 domestic and foreign academicians, experts and scholars, showcasing numerous cutting-edge rehabilitation technologies and solutions, and providing a high-level platform for communication and cooperation among industry, academia, research and application.

As a long-term cooperative enterprise of Xiamen Fifth Hospital, we are honored to witness and support its successful hosting of this industry-leading conference. During the conference, the Fifth Hospital hosted three sub forums on "Kidney Rehabilitation," "Social Rehabilitation," and "Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Rehabilitation." Several experts, including Dean Professor Huang Jiyi and Professor Yan Tiebin, delivered high-level speeches, showcasing the hospital's profound accumulation and leading practice in the field of rehabilitation medicine, and received unanimous praise from the attending experts.

We are particularly proud that the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of the Fifth Hospital, as a rehabilitation training base and benchmark platform of *********, has achieved remarkable development in recent years. The department not only gathers a group of authoritative experts such as Professor Yan Tiebin and Dr. He Xiaokuo, but also introduces many international advanced equipment such as lower limb rehabilitation robots, brain functional imaging systems, and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulators. It has carried out nearly 30 leading diagnostic and treatment technologies, and has achieved significant results in areas such as severe rehabilitation and plant induced awakening.

Through this conference, we have further strengthened our confidence in continuing to deepen cooperation with the Fifth Hospital. In the future, we will continue to work together to promote talent co education, technology co creation, and resource co construction, and jointly create an international first-class rehabilitation medicine platform, injecting new impetus into the development of rehabilitation medicine in Xiamen and even the whole country.
